We are excited to be recruiting for Banquet Servers at Inn at the Forks


Inn at the Forks is a sleek and stylish hotel set in The Forks historic site with guest rooms that feature a modern design, and some suites have waterfront views.

SMITH is a contemporary restaurant featuring locally sourced ingredients, and Riverstone Spa is a full-service spa, both located within the hotel.


The primary function of a banquet server is to ensures the food and beverage service, set ups, and teardowns of all function rooms and conference spaces are done to a standard which not only meets but exceeds guests' expectations in a professional, safe and efficient manner.


Duties:


  • Ensure that all guests are enjoying their food & beverage experience in the hotel.
  • Sign in, read the BEO's and consult the Supervisor for duties.
  • Ensure and assist co-ordination of function room set-up, tabletop completed to standard and timelines.
  • Take corrective action if a guest is not satisfied with the meal or any part of the service.
  • Always promote teamwork and co-operation with co-workers and other operating departments.
  • Display a positive and professional manner and serve all guests with a smile.
  • Have a good knowledge of the Hotel's Facilities, services and events being held.

What you bring to the table:

  • Previous Banquet Serving Experience (1+ Years)
  • A positive and hardworking attitude
  • High attention to detail and organization
  • Reliable, honest and hardworking

Job Type:
Part-time


Salary:
From $14.15 per hour
