The right individual will learn how to perform them all_

We are seeking a highly motivated
Part-Time Cleaner/Team Leader who

meets the following
qualifications:


  • Has a valid SIN or Canadian Work Permit and a clean criminal record check.
  • Has a Class 5 Driving Licence and a clean driving record.
  • Has excellent verbal and written English skills.
  • Has a positive and friendly attitude.
  • Is reliable, punctual and has a strong work ethic.
  • Is physically fit and not afraid of working on heights or confined spaces.
  • Can lift up to 70 pounds and perform daily maintenance and care of equipment.
  • Has a keen eye for attention to detail.
  • Is willing to be mentored and stay in continuous training.
  • Is a problem solver, active listener and team player.
  • Is willing to mentor staff, including new hires, and supervise the work of others.
  • Wants to grow within an inclusive work culture.
  • Has a flexible schedule and can work at different times, any day of the week.

Relevant work experience is an asset but not required. We are willing to train the right person.

Training
certificates that are an asset are:


  • WHMIS
  • Occupational & Safety Training (such as Fall Protection, Elevating Work Platforms, etc.)

Responsibilities:


  • Perform different cleaning duties on various locations.
  • Use floor care machines, pressure washers and telescopic waterfed poles.
  • Ensure staff works safely and without distractions.
  • Ensure services are completed within the stipulated time.
  • Maintain the inventory of supplies and equipment. Replenish inventory when needed.
  • On occasions climb ladders up to 20ft.
  • Supervise the work of others and ensure that the quality of work promised to the client is met.
  • Read and follow cleaning checklists.
  • Communicate actively with managers, staff and clients.
  • Maintain a learning and growth mindset. Take all the courses the company enrolls you in.
  • Provide directions, guide and mentor other staff members.
  • Drive safely from site to site.
  • Lead others by example.
  • Keep eyes and ears open for upsale opportunities.
  • Maintain a neat and professional appearance.
