Description

Tomlinson Group of Companies is looking for a Quality Control Supervisor to join our team and ensure that our construction projects meet the highest standards of quality.


RESPONSIBILITIES:


  • Report to QC Manager on field operations
  • Develop and implement quality control procedures for construction projects
  • Review and approve quality control documentation
  • Identify and report quality issues and work with project teams to develop corrective actions
  • Train and supervise quality control technicians
  • Communicate with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure that quality requirements are met
  • Develop and maintain quality control reports and documentation, including nonconformance reports and corrective action plans
  • Collaborate with project teams to develop quality control plans and procedures for new construction projects
  • Coordinate with thirdparty testing and inspection agencies to ensure compliance with project requirements and industry standards
  • Attend daily Operational meetings.
  • Schedule and Dispatch QC Field Staff.
  • Maintain and update QC Department Sharepoint site
  • Schedule and conduct annual calibration of QC Field Testing Equipment
  • Attend industry seminars
  • Monitor and track construction materials and equipment to ensure compliance with quality standards and specifications
  • Conduct training sessions for construction personnel on quality control procedures and best practices
  • Participate in project meetings and provide updates on quality control issues and progress
  • Occasional field work when required

QUALIFICATIONS:


  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in construction quality control
  • Knowledge of industry standards and regulations
  • Strong attention to detail and analytical skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Experience with quality control software and tools is an asset
