Description

The Accounting Manager oversees the financial operations of each entity within Wilsons Group ensuring accuracy, compliance, and efficiency in all accounting functions.

This includes overseeing accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll and invoicing in addition to the production of regular reporting.


The Wilson's Group of Companies is a locally owned and operated ground transportation and tour company serving Victoria, Vancouver Island and Vancouver.

In operation since 1962, we are a trusted provider known for our exceptional service, transporting groups large and small from one destination to another - safely and on time.


What we are looking for:

  • Post secondary education in accounting or related field.
  • 5 plus years accounting experience.
  • 2 plus years in a leadership or supervisory role within an accounting or finance department.
  • Ability to meet deadlines and maintain an organized work environment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Experience using accounting and payroll related software.

Bonus points if you:

  • Have a CPA or payroll designation.
  • Experience processing multiple payrolls.
  • Experience using QuickBooks and Rise People.

Job Types:
Full-time, Fixed term contract

Contract length: 8-10 months


Salary:
$70,000.00-$80,000.00 per year
