We are looking for a dedicated and outgoing Independent Living Coordinator who is passionate about caring for our seniors and providing a safe and pleasant home in our independent living residence.

What You Will Do

Manage the daytoday operations of 31 Independent Living suits in located in Vernon, keeping the organization on track for its longterm goals and mission.
Address resident issues and/or concerns by maintaining proactive and responsive relationships in order to achieve a high rate of tenant satisfaction.
Monitor and enhance employee performance through education, coaching, mentoring, guidance, and role modeling.
Facilitate relationships and communication between departments, clients, families, team members and community stakeholders.
Lead the marketing activities including providing tours, arranging media advertising, developing a marketing plan and signing occupancy agreements.
Oversee residence occupancy levels, new leases and move outs.
Facilitate recreational activities for your tenants, such as outings, game nights, etc.
Develop and maintain an effective quality and risk management system for the Independent Living department to ensure regulations and standards are met.
Cultivate and promote a safe environment for those in the residence by following Occupational Health and Safety regulations, infection control protocols, violence prevention, and cultural safety training.

Your Qualifications - The Must Have's

One to three years of related experience in a seniors independent living residential setting
Demonstrated customer service skills, leadership, and exceptional administrative abilities
Experience with creating marketing plans and advertising initiatives
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills coupled with a high level of professionalism and confidentiality
Computer proficiency with and intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office products
