    Responsibilities:
    This contract position is for a Wellsite Geologist located in Calgary, Alberta.

    • Monitor and analyze geological data during drilling operations for optimal well placement, prioritizing safety.
    • Provide real-time interpretations and recommendations based on geological information to guide drilling decisions.
    • Prepare detailed reports and maintain proactive communication with clients to ensure drilling program success.

    Qualifications:
    • Minimum Bachelor's degree in Geology, Earth Science, or related field.
    • At least 3 years of experience in wellsite geology, remote geosteering, or operations geology.
    • Strong understanding of drilling operations, well placement, and completions operations.
    • Proficient in MWD/LWD tools, wireline logging, and strip log software.
    • Excellent team-player with effective communication skills, safety focus, and ability to work under pressure.
    • Experience with WellSight Systems and MS Office suite; familiarity with StarSteer is a plus.
    • Valid safety certifications such as H2S, First-Aid, and WHMIS.
    • Willingness to travel to remote locations and work independently.
