- Minimum 3 years experience in wellsite geology, remote geosteering, or operations geology
- Strong knowledge of drilling operations, MWD/LWD tools, wireline logging, well placement, and completions operations
- Expert knowledge of strip log software (WellSight Systems) and MS Office suite. Remote geosteering software (ie. StarSteer) considered an asset
- Willing to travel to remote locations and work independently

Belloy Geologists excels in handling a wide range of projects, regardless of their scope, and demonstrates the flexibility and adaptability needed to respond to project changes and challenges.
This is a contract role for a Wellsite Geologist located in Calgary, Alberta .As a Wellsite Geologist, you will monitor and analyze geological data during drilling operations to ensure optimal well placement, with a focus on safety.
You will provide real-time interpretations and recommendations based on drill cuttings, well logs, and other geological information to guide drilling decisions.
You will be responsible for preparing detailed reports while maintaining excellent communication with clients to ensure the success of the drilling program.
Minimum Bachelor's in Geology, Earth Science, or a related field
