Construction CoordinatorJob Summary
The Construction Coordinator plays a key role in keeping our multi-million projects on track.
The incumbent is responsible for supporting the Construction Manager and Site Superintendent on all operations relating to Zenterra Housing and wood frame projects.
Key duties include creating tender packages, drafting trade contract agreements, documenting all management and control processes, and ensuring data integrity in Procore.

Key Accountabilities and Supporting Tasks
Contract Management
- Create tender packages with applicable drawings, surveys, reports and scopes of work
- Manage and compile bids and creating analytical reports comparing bids
- Draft trade contract agreements based on available templates
- Prepare and track all contract agreements and change orders/directives for each assigned project until full execution
Project Administration
- Handle project administration, including cost control, schedule control and change order administration
- Document all management and control document processes (RFI's, SI's, shop drawings, commitments, change orders) Manage and respond to all RFI's during the tender period
- Attend all trade and consultant meetings taking detailed meeting minutes
Project Coordination
- Communicate with design team and trades regarding site issues and gathering necessary information required for decision making
- Provide estimating assistance to the construction manager
- Prepare progress reports and issue progress schedules to manager
Job Requirements
Must-have:
- Completion of a postsecondary degree or diploma in construction management, building science, civil engineering, architectural technology or related field
- 35 years of direct project management experience, with construction management experience preferred;
Nice-to-have:
- CAPM or PMP designation from the Project Management Institute (PMI)
- Previous supervisory experience
