Description

Duties/Responsibilities:

Package lumber orders for customers.
Load and unload trucks and trailers, rotate stock.
Keep yard clean of debris and well organized.
Complete delivery ship list and all required paperwork for product.
Provide quality service to customers.
Assist others as instructed by supervisor.
Conduct daily check of forklift to ensure safe operation; report required maintenance or damage.
Receive shipments and store in their proper locations.
Responsible for using all equipment and operating all machinery in a safe, correct and careful manner, as instructed.
Maintain clean forklift inside and out.

Knowledge:

Forklift experience required.
General shipping and receiving experience an asset.
Ability to adapt to change.
Dependable, organized and able to multitask.
Excellent time management skills.
Able to follow instructions.
Maintain a professional appearance, demeanor, and attitude at all times.
Safety oriented.
