Description

Reporting to the Roll form supervisor, the Roll Form Labourer involves assisting in the operation and providing general and mechanical support to the Roll Form Operator.

Responsibilities:

Assist operator in the daily operation of roll form machinery
Responsible for unloading parts as they come off the machine
Responsible for counting parts and creating appropriate bundles
Ensure work area is kept clean and organized
Operate equipment at all times in compliance with safety rules, regulations and requirements. Ensure PPE required is used and all guards are in place.
Monitor condition of tools and clean or rework when necessary
Monitor coolant levels in equipment and replenish as required
Work with team members to maximize productivity and efficiency
Follow all company policies and procedures
Monitor and identify possible quality defects to ensure quality standards are met consistently

Job Qualifications:

Good physical condition and strength
Ability to do basic addition and subtraction to count parts
Ability to measure and convert fractions/decimals
Attention to detail and conscientiousness
Strong mechanical aptitude
Ability to work in fast pace environment with changing priorities
Ability to work with hand tools

Shift:
Rotating day and afternoon shift on a biweekly basis

Job Types:
Full-time, Permanent

Salary:
$22.82-$24.02 per hour
