Roles & Responsibilities:
- General manual labour duties, including but not limited to the following: pulling geomembrane liner for placement during installation projects.
- Filling, lifting, and placing sandbags on liner during installation.
- Clean up and preparation duties as directed by field supervisors.
- Other tasks as assigned.
The following qualifications are considered an asset but are not required for employment.
- Mechanical interest/aptitude.
- Strong knowledge of hand and power tools.
- Supervisory experience.
- Previous construction training and/or tickets.
- Safety & First Aid Training.
- Interpret construction drawings and specifications.
- Positive attitude.
- Valid driver's license.
- Willingness to learn new skills within a specialized trade/industry.
- Ability to work independently or with a group to accomplish deadlines.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to travel to remote locations and be away for long periods of time.
- Interest in longterm employment and development in a challenging and rewarding career.
