Assembly Technician (Robotics)

Novarc Technologies is looking for an
Assembly Technician (Robotics) to join our growing team and support the production of our cobots.
Responsibilities
The Assembly Technician (Robotics) is a critical link in the operations team and will enable the success of the SWR with our clients.
Requirements:
- Technical training and/or diploma in a related field (mechanical, electronics, mechatronics, or similar).
- Good motor skills and the ability to do fine mechanical assembly.
- Experience working with electrical assemblies: electrical panel building, handling of electrical hand and power tools.
- Ability to read and carefully follow mechanical and electrical engineering drawings and instructions.
- Experience in a startup manufacturing environment is a plus.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently to a firm production schedule.
- Experience with PC based computer software.
- PLC Programming experience.
- MIG Welding experience.
- Forklift experience.
- Fieldwork and equipment installation experience.
- Experience optimising areas for Kanban, inventory, and production layouts.
- Ability to work long hours to meet production targets as required.
- Experience troubleshooting and pointtopoint testing electrical systems.
Schedule:
This is a permanent on-site full time position.
- 8hour shift, Monday to Friday: flexible start time
