About the Opportunity:


Reporting to the Health Service Manager and working in collaboration with the Team Leader, this position provides support in scheduling, staffing, and payroll for assigned units.

Completes schedule entry, daily flow sheets, payroll reports, and updates/corrects as required. Maintains unit staffing consoles. Liaises with Charge Nurse, Health Service Manager, and Admins with regards to staffing levels. Runs additional reports as necessary.


About You:

We would love to hear from you if you have the following:

  • Grade XII plus one year post-secondary business, secretarial, or office management diploma and one year secretarial or general clerical experience
  • Experience in a healthrelated field preferred
  • Experience with multi discipline staff scheduling and scheduling software
  • Demonstrated selfstarter and problem solver
  • Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality
  • Ability to work independently
  • Excellent computer skills including knowledge of wordprocessing and spread sheet capabilities
  • Demonstrated proficiency of Microsoft Programs (Excel/Word) via Skills Testing
  • Must be knowledgeable about collective agreements and human resource policies
  • Good communication and organizational skills
  • Ability to work as a team member
  • Ability to relate well with all levels of staff
  • Experience with Time Capture an asset
  • Experience with Kronos an asset
  • Ability to multitask and manage competing demands
  • Ability to effectively manage a timesensitive workload
  • Competencies in other languages an asset, French preferred
  • A skills test will be included as part of the selection process

  • Short Assignment Fulltime Position; 70 hours biweekly

Compensation and Incentives:

$ $22.50 Hourly
