    Description
    SR SAP BTP Architect with ABAP experience to support a oil and gas client

    Job Type:
    Contract
    Our client is seeking a SR SAP BTP Architect with ABAP experience to support a oil and gas client
    Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
    Design, develop, test, and deploy ABAP-based solutions, ensuring adherence to best practices and coding standards.
    Leverage New Age Business Technology Platform (BTP) development services to innovate and modernize SAP solutions.
    Provide comprehensive oversight for client's cloud initiatives, ensuring alignment with business objectives and technical standards.
    Oversee the architecture, implementation, and management of cloud solutions to ensure high performance, security, and scalability.
    Collaborate with SAP and other strategic partners for seamless integration and operation of cloud services.
    Conduct thorough architectural reviews of cloud solutions to meet Suncor's technical and business requirements.
    Provide guidance and recommendations for optimizing cloud architectures.
    Monitor day-to-day cloud workloads for optimal performance and resource utilization.
    Support team members with guidance, troubleshooting, and workload management.
    Manage and support high-priority (P1/P2) cloud incidents to ensure timely resolution and minimal business impact.
    SAP ABAP Developer
    Data Sphere experience
    Based in Calgary and Oil and Gas experience
    Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
    Experience with SAP S/4HANA migration projects.
    Familiarity with Agile development methodologies and tools, such as JIRA or Azure DevOps
    SAP certifications in relevant areas are a plus.
