Job Description:

Under the direction of the Chair and Associate Chair, Information & Communication Technology - Security, Systems, and Networking, the Professor will be required to teach courses in the Bachelor of Information Technology - Network Technology program within the School of Advanced Technology
_. _The Professor will be responsible for facilitating and guiding learning and providing an effective learning environment for all students.

The professional responsibilities include:

The teaching of the assigned course, including:

Delivery of regularly scheduled instruction on Mondays and Wednesdays between 8am and 2pm;
Ensuring student awareness of course learning outcomes and instructional and evaluation techniques;
Providing a learning environment which makes effective use of available resources including educational technologies;
Evaluating student progress/achievement and assuming responsibility for the overall assessment of the student's work within assigned courses;
Providing a learning environment that is conducive to success for all students;
Consulting with the Professors responsible for the courses of instruction on the effectiveness of the instruction in attaining the stated program objectives.

The provision of academic leadership, including:

Providing guidance to students;
Participating on consultative committees, and departmental/faculty meetings;
Liaising with community members, engaging in program, Department, School or Faculty, and College promotion;
Remaining current in the field of study and maintaining awareness of emerging trends and practices related to teaching and learning in higher education;
Modeling the College values

Required Qualifications- A current CCNA certification (or higher);- Hands-on experience with:

EIGRP IPv4 and EIGRP IPv6 implementation, tuning and troubleshooting;
BGP routing protocol identification and configuration;
Network management, troubleshooting, automation, and virtualization;
Quality of Service (QoS).
