- Create solid models, layouts, and assembly drawings based on sketches or directions from senior designers
- Design mobile defense subsystems independently using NX CAD software
- Conduct design calculations and trade-off studies
- Incorporate engineering change requests into existing Technical Data Package
- Perform dynamic motion and interference analyses
- Support Bid and Proposal activities by determining scope of work and preparing labor estimates
- Assist in developing departmental processes, standards, and related documentation
- Provide system-level CAD model/product structure support
- Develop standard parts and integrate them into the Teamcenter Classification database
- University degree or college diploma in Electrical or Mechanical field
- Experience with NX CAD software for modeling, drafting, and advanced assemblies
- Strong knowledge of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T) and drawing practices
- Proficiency in MS Office applications
- Mechanical design experience using CAD tools
- Experience with defense and mobile equipment standards (e.g., MIL-Specs, ASME, SAE, FMVSS)
- Familiarity with Teamcenter Product Data Management application
- OACETT certified Mechanical Technologist or Technician (CET) with a focus on mobile equipment
