Name and description of the hiring department:

The offer position is available in Engineering Support Office (district under Francis Vanier) from Real Estate Services ( BRES ), Where Engineering Team is responsible to AC power delivery at Bell Canada Central Offices.


Duties:

To manage the power and cooling infrastructures in buildings, Bell uses multiple Ethernet communication platforms, which require rigorous management.

The team is responsible for programming and coordinating the implementation of the network and the proper functioning of the IOT platforms in Bell Canada's secure intranet.

The Student's role is to be a key resource in platform management, data analysis and modeling, script programming and network planning and management to maintain reliability.

They also work in collaboration with those responsible for communication systems and monitoring of building infrastructures.


The offer work can also involve the introduction of new technologies (NTI), new processes (NPI), Pegasys communication network monitoring status and reports.

As well, following installation of power electric meters projects in Bell Canada central offices.


Essential skills / competencies:


  • An engineering student: College or University or equivalent work experience.
  • Microsoft Office: Word, Excel and Power Point through.
  • Computer knowledge.
  • Ability to adapt to a changing work environment.
  • Ability to manage multiple mandates and priorities simultaneously.
  • General knowledge of business processes.
  • Experience and basic knowledge of objectoriented programming.
  • Leadership, dynamism, initiative and efficiency.
  • Bilingual ( French English )

Preferred Qualifications:


  • Knowledge of telecommunications
  • Management of the technical documentation (SharePoint)
