The Opportunity:

We are seeking a full time
Senior Buyer (Buyer II) to join our team in London, Ontario

This position is eligible for a
hybrid work arrangement in which you can work part-time at the Company location identified above and part-time remotely from your home.

As the Senior Buyer, you will:

  • Manage the negotiation and procurement of various project goods/services in support of aftermarket, service, and/or project execution.
  • Resolve supply chain logĂ­stical and accounting concerns with both suppliers and Pall Water internal customers.
  • Manage supplier performance, supplier evaluation, and supplier development, completing interviews, making recommendations, and selecting vendors/suppliers using an established supplier qualification process.
  • Develop and implement advanced sourcing strategies that will drive direct & indirect cost savings.
  • Develop RFP's and RFQ's to support engineering specifications and project requirements.
  • Travel internationally (up to 20% of the time), most across North America, to manage vendor relationships and participate in continuous improvement events.

Are you qualified? The essential requirements of the job include:

  • A Bachelor's Degree in Procurement, Supply Chain, Engineering, or an equivalent discipline/program.
  • A minimum of five (5) years' procurement/category management experience.
  • ERP / MRP system knowledge we especially want to hear from you if you have previously worked with SAP or Infor LN.
  • You are a strong critical thinker and problem solver who has a track record of achieving results in a highperformance / metricsdriven culture.
  • You possess strong communication and negotiation skills with a "customercentered" attitude.

It would be a plus if you also possess:

  • Previous procurement experience in the water industry, especially in water filtration or treatment.
  • Previous experience working for a projectbased business.
