Description

This position also involves:


  • General lab duties
  • Assist with Biobank management
  • Assist in sample pulling and distribution processes
  • Coordinate with clinical partners for ongoing sample processing and reagent order
  • Opportunities to grow in the Biobank as it seeks to obtain more sustainable funding.

Basic Requirements (Education/Experience):


  • Postsecondary education in a relevant field
  • 13 years of related experience
  • Background in biology laboratory skills
  • Understanding of aseptic techniques
  • Excellent critical thinking and analytical skills
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills (written and oral)
  • Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Ability to work independently and as a team member

Preferred Qualifications:


  • BSc in Biological Sciences or 3year College Diploma

Contract Details:

This is a 1-year full-time contract with the possibility of renewal.


Salary:
Min:$18.786/hr - Max:$23.914/hr
