Description

This position also involves:

General lab duties
Assist with Biobank management
Assist in sample pulling and distribution processes
Coordinate with clinical partners for ongoing sample processing and reagent order
Opportunities to grow in the Biobank as it seeks to obtain more sustainable funding.

Basic Requirements (Education/Experience):

Postsecondary education in a relevant field
13 years of related experience
Background in biology laboratory skills
Understanding of aseptic techniques
Excellent critical thinking and analytical skills
Strong interpersonal and communication skills (written and oral)
Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple priorities
Ability to work independently and as a team member

Preferred Qualifications:

BSc in Biological Sciences or 3year College Diploma

Contract Details:

This is a 1-year full-time contract with the possibility of renewal.

Salary:
Min:$18.786/hr - Max:$23.914/hr
