We're looking for a
Deployment Technician to join our team This is an
on-site role working directly in-person with various clients on a daily basis in-house and at client locations.

We have been in business for 20 years, assessing, deploying, and maintaining technology for business and non-profit organizations in Healthcare, Education, Transportation, etc., throughout Western Canada.
Desired Skills & Experience:
- Degree or diploma in a computerrelated program at an accredited technical college
- A+ certification
- Comfortable with doing onsite work in customers' business locations (onsite work).
- Handson experience supporting a multitude of operating systems, platforms, and devices.
- Knowledge using PXE or Server Based Imaging with User State Migration Tool (USMT) to install base Windows 10/11 images onto new computers.
- Proficient in MS-Windows administration and elements like Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, TCP/IP.
- Knowledge of Microsoft 365 platform with some certification desirable.
- Some exposure to network components such as switches, firewalls and wifi access points.
- Good knowledge of IT concepts and overall strategies, methodologies, practices & procedures.
- Strong organizational and time management skills;
- Strong analytical and problem resolution skills, and
- Customer Service Focus and Interpersonal Skills
- Ability to work independently
What you will do:
- Troubleshooting and some break/fix work on desktops and laptops inhouse and at client locations.
- Onsite assessment and assistance during network outages.
- Printer, scanner and other peripheral setups in client environments.
- Imaging of laptops and desktops with Windows
- Onsite deployment of new equipment in customer's offices including data migration.
- Onsite assistance to senior network technicians during project rollouts and new client onboarding.
Additional Requirements:
- Valid Manitoba driving license.
- A background check is required.
- Ability to do overnight stays for rural deployments if required
- Travel to several client locations around Winnipeg will be required
- A personal vehicle is preferred (mileage paid)
- Bend and reach repetitively
- Lift up to 30 lbs.
Experience:
- troubleshooting: 1 year (required)
- imaging of laptops and desktops with Windows 11: 1 year (preferred)
