The company is looking to continue to drive its rapid growth by seeking an Implementation Specialist, Client Services (IS) to provide effective support to our client services & sales teams.

Reporting to the Regional Manager the IS provides support to the benefits (sales) consultants, the account managers, and the client servicing team to ensure client focused implementation support and relationship management is provided to external clients and internal consultants.

The IS, is responsible for the over all implementation of a new the group.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Working with stakeholders to handle any new groups coming onto TPA Platform
  • Creating timelines and action lists and setting up master file
  • Providing weekly updates to stakeholders during the implementation process
  • Professionally build and maintain effective relationships with clients, staff, benefits consultants/brokers, and insurance carriers.
  • Lead, manage, implement and work closely with benefits consultants/brokers/underwriting team and client around the new groups and the conversion of existing accounts.
  • Initiates and/or implements corrective action as needed in order to ensure that an excellent standard of service and a high level of customer satisfaction are maintained.
  • Creation and submission of amendments to all carriers.
  • Accountability to meet strict deadlines
  • Responsible for all Master Applications and contracts. Acquiring the material, completion of documents, signatures, and distribution of completed material
  • Creating employee packages.
  • Maintain a high level of knowledge on employee benefit legislation, administrative issues, plan rules and client specific procedures
  • When necessary provide backup support to other members of the team
  • Responsible for actively ensuring the retention of the organizations customer base is maintained and promoting the organization and its products to existing customers.
  • Participating in industry conferences, seminars, etc. in order to promote services and enhanced knowledge of industry trends and activities
  • Adhere to all corporate policies, guidelines and statutory requirements and recommends being open to changes in policies and guidelines to reflect circumstances
  • Ensure and provide quality service to both internal and external customers

Qualifications:


  • 35years+ industry knowledge and experience
  • Good understanding of benefit administration systems
  • A passion to be a part of a strong team dynamics in an office setting
  • Proficient with Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Outlook
  • Detailed and systems oriented
  • Ability to write and speak in French & English
  • Proactive professional, always willing to be on the top of emerging best practices for your areas of responsibility
  • Strong multitasking and organizational skills
  • Actively embrace and manage change
  • High level of productivity while ensuring standards are upheld
