_Metrolinx _is connecting communities across the Greater Golden Horseshoe. Metrolinx operates GO Transit and UP Express, as well as the PRESTO fare payment system. Our HR Services & Technology Office is look for a Talent Fulfilment & Workforce Data Specialist to join the team.

Reporting to the Manager, HR Technology, you will be responsible for providing oversight of the Workforce structure data and guide development on changes that support the end-to-end Talent Fulfillment process.

This role provides expert troubleshooting and support in resolving data issues and root cause analysis for any escalated technical problems with respect to HCM (Workforce Structure Modules) and Oracle Recruitment cloud.


What will I be doing?

  • Analyze and report on key performance metrics for the TA function ensuring consistent reporting, forecasting, and the analysis of issues
  • Conduct assessment of internal recruitment data (e.g., timetofill, manager satisfaction, source of hire, etc.) to deliver actionable insights that drive improvements and provide input into the development of dashboards and performance measures for TA programs and HR talent management data
  • Recommend, in consultation with HR COE's, additional system/process enhancements, in response to changing business requirements, for HR Applications
  • Assess system impacts arising from reorganizations, collective agreement/policy changes and determine system changes to existing workforce structure data or functionality
  • Create and maintain training materials for all HR staff on Workforce data technical functionalities and end to end Talent fulfillment processes

What Skills and Qualifications Do I Need?

  • Minimum four (4) years' experience in the recruitment/ process of an HR environment including experience with workforce structures and data management and analytics
  • Experience with BI reporting tools and Reporting Analytics software (i.e., Tableau) and use data visualization techniques to develop compelling and insightful dashboards and analytical reports
  • Expertise and advanced knowledge in MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.) and workforce management and applicant tracking systems
  • Performance measurement processes and practices and key performance indicators (KPIs) to contribute analytics that form the basis of various data performance metrics
  • Working knowledge of a broad range of Human Resources and related functions including Talent Acquisition, Position management along with understanding core data integrations and dependencies
  • Problem solving, analytical, decision making, and organizational skills to analyze system requirements and lead changes and updates to the HRMS
  • Criticalthinking skills to identify trends in data and provide insight into results and outline recommendations.
