    As part of the WITRON Group, WITRON Service Canada Corporation excels internationally in the technical operation of automated logistic systems. Our services include:

    1. Operational support & troubleshooting
    2. Performing unplanned/reactive electrical and mechanical repairs
    3. Ensuring proper knowledge and utilization of WiTool
    4. Non-technical support for equipment operators
    5. System performance monitoring and operational status awareness
    6. Diagnosis of general electrical and mechanical faults
    7. Planned Maintenance:
      1. Performing planned electrical and mechanical maintenance work orders
      2. Executing and documenting maintenance activities
      3. Exchanging and setting up electrical/mechanical parts
      4. Performing required cleaning of equipment
      5. Adhering to 5S principles for efficient operations
      6. Being accountable for audit results, individual EM efficiency, and minimizing downtime

    Qualifications


    Relevant Electrical and/or Mechanical Qualification: Post-secondary training in a trade school (DEP/Trade School/Electrician/Millwright or equivalent)

    Knowledge/Experience required:

    • Electrically and mechanically maintain, troubleshoot, and repair automated equipment
    • 1-2 years minimal experience as an electromechanical technician
    • Good mechanical maintenance and repair skills
    • Practical attitude and ability to learn new tasks
    • Excellent PC skills
    • Must be able to work at heights exceeding 20 meters
    • Must be able to work days, evenings, nights, and weekends (Preferred shifts will be assigned based on hire date and operational requirements)
    • Familiarity with AC up to 600/400/480 volts and DC up to 24 volts
    • Familiarity with wiring diagrams, symbols, and electrical measuring
    • Familiarity with electrical/mechanical drive technology (i.e. motors and gears)
    • Familiarity with control technology (i.e. controls/inverter)
    • Electrical and/or Mechanical maintenance and troubleshooting experience with industrial equipment and machinery
    • Familiarity with PLC logic
    • Must be willing to travel occasionally within Canada as needed
