Accounts Payable Clerk

Salary:
$52,000.00 per year

Accounts payable: 3 years (required)


Job Duties and Responsibilities:


  • Perform everyday management of all payment cycle activities
  • Provide efficient client service
  • Keep track, process and reconcile payments and expenditures, including purchase orders, invoices, statements, checks, refund requisitions etc., in compliance with financial policies and procedures
  • Ensure correct approval, sorting, coding and matching of invoices/receipts
  • Regularly tabulate data
  • Compile and present necessary reports
  • Continuously improve payment processes

Education and Qualifications:


  • 3+ years previous experience doing A/P, Billing, Coding and Data Entry is essential
  • Secondary school diploma and minimum of 12 years formal accounting postsecondary education
  • Strong awareness of accounting best practices and client confidentiality obligations in the workplace
  • Strong interpersonal skills with demonstrated ability to work effectively as part of a team
  • An accurate, detailoriented approach with the ability to function in an office with multiple interruptions and high demands.
