Description
Responsibilities


1 Leads, manages and monitors inventory levels, on-time shipment of finished goods, warehousing/shipping of goods, and the receipt, and storage.

2 Establishes inventory objectives and assumes responsibility for inventory turns (stock rotation). Reviews identify and minimize obsolete inventory.

3 Develops, manages, and maintains departmental plans, and budgets to ensure management goals and objectives are met. Enforce company and safety rules. Improve the processes of operation and physical organization of the warehouse.


4 Responsible for maintaining accurate inventory levels, accurate recording of all transfers of incoming or outgoing stock, forecasting product flow and adhering to shipping timeframes.

5 Responsible for ensuring physical inventory accuracy against ERP by conducting inventory cycle counts with monthly completion and accuracy requirements >98%


6 Works closely with the accounting team & plant operations to do the monthly reconciliation of inventories and provide reports.


7 Effective communication with Operations Managers, Department Supervisors and warehouse staff to resolve issues, and problems and strive for continuous improvement initiatives.


8 Oversight and accountability for: inventory accuracy, appropriate product placement, transfer picking and preparation, storage and accessibility, participation in cycle counts and annual inventory, monitoring of daily activities.


Qualifications:


  • Minimum of 3 years' experience managing a warehouse/distribution facility;
  • Previous experience managing/supervising people;
  • Takes pride in running a clean well organized and efficient warehouse;
  • Technical aptitude and proficiency; previous experience utilizing ERP systems;
  • Has strong technical aptitude and industry knowledge. Strong working knowledge, Experience with process improvement and implementation;
  • Comfortable with computers, Proficient in Excel etc.
  • Ability to work well under pressure and in a fastpaced environment;
  • Physically fit with initiative to take handson approach and work alongside their team;
  • Proven ability to drive team and facility improvement through use of metrics, scorecards and other measurements;

Salary: 41,600~50,000/Year, T4 provision
