JOB SUMMARY
To perform housekeeping\laundry aide duties as directed by the manager.

EDUCATION

Grade 12 or equivalent
Completion of a recognized course in housekeeping is preferred

KNOWLEDGE- Up to one-month current experience preferably in a long term care geriatric setting.

Experience in operating and utilizing commercial/institutional equipment and products.

(General Requirements)- Must be physically capable of performing the duties of the position.

Must be able to tolerate heat conditions.
Must have a good attendance record.

SKILLSSPECIAL REQUIREMENTS- In accordance with the Corporate Criminal Record Check Policy, the position requires the incumbent to undergo a Criminal Records Check and submit a Canadian Police Clearance Certificate.

Shift Information:

Required to work days, evenings and nights including weekends.

Must be willing and able to work up to 24 hours per week and declare availability of 32 hours per week.
