About the Role:


Reporting to the Project Manager, the Project Coordinator will support the Project Manager on site with a variety of project functions.

The Project Coordinator will be responsible for tracking and submitting project documentation, supporting the costing and billing process, and completing site visits and observations to track progress and subsequently prepare and submit project reports.

Responsibilities:


  • Support project managers in preparing billing on a regular and compliant basis;
  • Submit project startup requirements;
  • Liaise with the site supervisor and clients;
  • Review project drawings and specifications;
  • Assist in making changes to project scope, schedules, and costs;
  • Assist in risk analyses during project planning phase;
  • Process and issue change orders as directed by the Project Manager;
  • Assist with establishing project budgets, and implementing cost controls;
  • Prepare schedules using Inflector's project management software.

Profile Requirements:


Qualifications include:


  • Minimum 13 years' experience working as a Project Coordinator, preferably in a comparable industry;
  • Post Secondary Education in Project Administration, Project Management, or a related field would be considered a strong asset;
  • Excellent organizational and timemanagement skills;
  • Strong attention to detail;
  • Effective communication skills, both written and verbal;
  • Ability to work both independently, and as part of a team;
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite Applications (Excel, Word, Outlook);
  • Enthusiastic team player with a 'can do' attitude;
  • Prior field experience would be considered an asset.

Physical Requirements:

Dynamic Work Setting: Offers a mix of field and office environments (on-site office); involves approximately 50% field work and 50% office work.

Physical Capability: Must be physically capable of navigating job sites for inspections, investigations, and audits. Also, must be fit and able to wear respiratory protection equipment, including various types of full and half face respirators.

Driver's License: Must possess a valid driver's license.

Security Clearance: Must be eligible to obtain Secret Level Security Clearance.

Hazardous Materials: Required to enter and examine active abatement areas containing Asbestos, Lead, Silica, Mold, etc.


Job Types:
Full-time, Fixed term contract

Contract length: 12 months
