    We're looking for a French & Social Sciences Teacher to join our Prep School (Grades 6 to 8) for a 4 month LTO contract from September through December, . You'll have a homeroom and be teaching Grade 6 and 7 French and Social Sciences.

  • Preparing, developing, and implementing engaging lesson plans, consistent with the Bayview Glen curriculum and differentiating these plans according to student needs
  • Using a variety of teaching strategies and instructional materials to meet the diverse learning needs of students
  • Maintaining timely and effective communication with students, parents and faculty
  • Promoting a classroom environment dedicated to the BVG "Whole Child, Whole Life and Whole World" educational philosophy

    • What You'll Need:

  • A Bachelor of Education Degree in Junior/Intermediate or equivalent
  • An Undergraduate Degree with an area of specialization in French and History/Social Sciences or equivalent
  • Membership, in good standing, with the Ontario College of Teachers or equivalent
  • A demonstrated passion for French, History & Social Sciences and a thorough understanding of current educational practices
  • Strong interpersonal, organization, communication and time management skills
  • Willingness and enthusiasm towards participating in the co-curricular program and school community
