Responsibilities:


  • Prepare internal documents and ensure that they are distributed to the correct departments in a timely manner
  • Work alongside Operations Manager and Procurement on inventory and product availability
  • Assist with analyzing and negotiating contracts with various carriers/vendors (communication, freight and other cost centers)
  • Invoicing (through QuickBooks)
  • Filing and file management, both physical and electronic

Requirements:


  • Customer service experience with some sales support experience is preferred
  • Experience working with QuickBooks is preferred
  • Logistics and trucking experience would be an asset
  • Proficient oral and written communication skills with the ability to proofread internal documents
  • Strong organizational, multitasking and problemsolving skills
  • A good memory and be a quick learner
  • Excellent time management and attention to detail
  • General knowledge of Word, Excel, Outlook
