_Goodfellow Inc is a Canadian-based company, specializing in the wholesale distribution of wood products, building material, flooring and re-manufacturing / distribution of lumber.

_

  • We are currently seeking a dynamic and motivated _
    Inside Sales Representative_ _who will excel in assisting our customers and outside sales team, Monday thru Friday, 8am 4:30pm for our Flooring and Building Materials distribution sector, at our _
    Richmond, BC facility. _This an onsite position and not compatible with a workfromhome environment._

Duties:


  • Manage inside sales for a national distributor of building materials
  • Develop strong relationships with lumber dealer accounts through proactive selling and superior customer service
  • Effectively provide exceptional customer service and promptly answer all questions and inquiries
  • Aggressively prospect and sell products
  • Accurately quote pricing and keep quotes organized for follow up
  • Work in coordination with Outside Sales partner
  • Enter all orders accurately, recommend additional addon sales
  • Take ownership of all orders through the entire process from entry to shipping
  • Assist with customer accounts including issuing credits, debits, investigating discrepancies.
  • Maintain contact with Yard Personnel for stock checks
  • Maintain contact with Shipping Personnel to ensure shipments leave in a timely manner, includes communication with other branches
  • Notify Sales Manager of all potential opportunities, missed sales, inventory discrepancies, market trends, etc.
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:


  • Minimum 2 years successful inside sales experience in the building materials industry
  • Strong outbound selling and customer service skills
  • Ability to handle customer issues and requirements
  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail
  • Able to manage time effectively, prioritize tasks and manage multiple priorities
  • Able to perform well in stressful situations
  • Effectively work in a close team atmosphere
  • Ability to analyze, solve problems and make decisions
  • Experience with ERP systems
  • Experience with MS office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook)

Pay:
$50,000.00-$55,000.00 per year
