Lightspeed is seeking a results-oriented Product Marketing Lead to accelerate growth of the Hospitality product line across our 3 regions: North America, Europe, and APAC (Australia and New Zealand).

Reporting to the Vice President of Product Marketing, and managing a team of PMMs through both direct and dotted lines, this position will:

determine the global go-to-market strategy for Hospitality products; establish impactful positioning and messaging for Hospitality solutions; lead the Hospitality team's efforts in conducting market analysis and customer research; develop and own the Hospitality PMM roadmap; and build and lead programs that support business goals.

As a Player/Coach manager, you will drive strategy for the Hospitality vertical, manage the roadmap and work across the PMM team, and own select projects, while ensuring the team stays accountable to established goals.

At Lightspeed, as a Global Lead for Product Marketing, you will build influential relationships throughout the organization.

You will interact with diverse stakeholders at varying levels across Product, Marketing, Sales, Customer Service, Partnerships and more in order to help accelerate the launch and lifecycle management of our Hospitality products.


What you'll be responsible for:


  • Becoming an expert in the hospitality industry and understanding the technology landscape that help restaurateurs be successful
  • Develop the global gotomarket strategy for Lightspeed Restaurant, gaining buyin from product, GTM and regional partners
  • Oversee the planning and execution of GTM programs across the Hospitality PMM team; define team goals and own the results of PMM initiatives
  • Represent the voice of the customer across the organization; distill feedback from various functions and drive organizational alignment around key insights
  • Define the market research roadmap and surface insights that inform strategy and roadmaps
  • Lead the creation & oversight of the PMM roadmap, defining marketing initiatives that spans the customer lifecycle, from initial launch through product adoption, onboarding and retention
  • Product Partnership drive alignment and collaboration between product and marketing teams; establish team processes for launching new products and features, and surfacing insights from customers and sales teams that help inform future product development
  • Sales and partner enablement drive collaboration with sales and partner teams to enable teams to sell and deliver new offerings
  • Develop influential and collaborative relationships with various crossfunctional teams, including Marketing, Product Managers and leadership, Sales leadership, Customer Support, and production teams of creatives and automation specialists
  • Work with other PMM Leads to drive functional initiatives and career development for the global product marketing team

What you need to bring to the team:

  • 8+ years experience working in product marketing, growth or lifecycle marketing, or similar go-to-market experience
  • Previous background in SaaS marketing, preferably with experience in either consumer apps / technologies, early stage startups, or with exposure to small business audiences
  • Experience working with product and engineering teams
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Demonstrated ability to lead with influence across multiple crossfunctional stakeholders
  • Ability to build, maintain, and manage close working relationships across a variety of departments and levels
  • Strong quantitative analytical ability
  • Genuine interest in and curiosity in helping SMBs succeed

Even better if you have, but not necessary:

  • MBA or Product Marketing Alliance certification
  • Experience in the retail industry in any capacity is a strong asset
