    Professor, Human Resources Management

    You will utilize a variety of instructional techniques and delivery methods to bring our curriculum to life for your students.

    The incumbent reports to the Dean, Business, English & Liberal Studies working 40 hours per week.

    Salary range for this position is as per the Academic Collective Agreement - $66,555 to $115,37- and will be determined at the point of hire based on our internal classification form.

    The Professor will be responsible for providing academic leadership and for developing an effective environment through the design and revision of programs and courses, defining and evaluating learning outcomes, developing appropriate teaching and learning environments, and developing/selecting appropriate learning materials.

    Participating in the work of curriculum, program advisory and other committees, and keeping current in your field through consultation with business and industry representatives are essential components of these positions.

    You will champion the development of customized training and educational programs in collaboration with public and private sector partners.

    Program promotion and student recruitment are essential areas of responsibility.
    D. in Organizational Behaviour and Human Resource Management or equivalent is required


    • Five years of industry-related experience in an executive position
    • Current HRPA designation as a Certified Human Resources Leader (CHRL)
    • Previous teaching experience at a post-secondary academic level with evidence of demonstrated application of adult learning principles and teaching/assessment methodologies, curriculum design, and development is preferred
    • Candidates must be self-motivated, and be an independent worker who functions well in a team environment with superior communication, team building, leadership, and computer skills.
    • The successful candidate must demonstrate a passion for teaching and a commitment and capacity for teaching excellence, student engagement, student success, scholarly activity, and campus citizenship. The successful candidate will be able to think broadly, celebrate the diversity of thought, and respect the uniqueness of individuals.
