About the role
We're looking for a Specialist, Specialty Lines - Program for a 6 months secondment, to join our growing team

What you'll do here:

Gather market intelligence by working directly with distribution, brokers and customers and compare Intact's product offering to the competition.
Research technologybased solutions for pricing, underwriting, risk assessment and loss mitigation opportunities
Collaborate with internal teams to explore new growth and profitability opportunities through technical research and relationship building.
Assist in portfolio management through governance best practices, profitability and growth analysis.
Perform technical underwriting audit.
Communicate changes related underwriting guidelines and new products.
Provide underwriting training, lending expertise colleagues and distribution underwriters.

What you bring to the table:

University degree/College diploma or any combination of equivalent education and experience
Minimum 510 years of relevant experience
Highly organized, with the ability to work towards goals while adapting to change in a fast paced environment
Strong communication skills, including the ability to persuade as well as challenge others
Can deal effectively and respectfully with individuals at all levels of the organization
Selfstarter with the ability to work independently and in collaboration with national departmental teams
Effective analytical, negotiating and decisionmaking skills
Can work well under tight deadlines, including organizational and time management skills
High level of integrity, confidentiality and accountability
Digital and Data Acumen, understanding how these two items can support and facilitate the customer and Underwriters experience
CIP is a must and FCIP and/or CRM designation is an asset
Willing to travel on occasion
