MATERIALS MANAGER
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Materials Manager to join our team.

As a Materials Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the tracking and management of materials needed for our operations.

This is a key role in ensuring the smooth and efficient functioning of our supply chain.


Key Responsibilities and Functions:


  • Ability to utilize various warehouse management systems to manage inventory movements and monitor stock accuracy
  • Conduct regular audits to ensure inventory accuracy and identify discrepancies or inefficiencies
  • Implement best practices for inventory control, including cycle counting, stock rotation, and obsolescence management
  • Analyze data to forecast demand, track inventory levels, and identify trends or issues
  • Coordinate with production teams to ensure availability of materials as per schedule
  • Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to ensure accurate inventory records, forecast material needs and timely order fulfillment
  • Monitor supply chain performance and identify opportunities for improvement
  • Oversee the receipt, inspection, and storage of materials

Requirements/Qualifications:


  • Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, logistics, or a related field (preferred)
  • Proven experience as a Materials or Inventory Manager or similar role
  • Ability to analyze data and make informed decisions
  • Strong organizational skills are a necessity.
  • Must be selfsufficient, and able to work with littletono direct supervision.
  • Proficiency in using warehouse management systems and other inventory management software.
  • Excellent problemsolving skills with the ability to identify root causes and implement effective solutions.
  • Strong communication skills to collaborate with crossfunctional teams.
  • Experience in data collection and analysis using various tools.
  • Ability to work in a fastpaced environment with tight deadlines.
  • Must have a valid driver's license.
  • Ability to pass Drug & Alcohol test to work on site.

Work Conditions:


  • May be required to operate a fleet vehicle for business purposes.
  • Must be able to lift and carry materials and equipment weighing up to 50 pounds on a frequent basis and up to 100 pounds on an occasional basis.
  • Prolonged standing and frequent bending, stooping, and reaching on a daily basis.
  • Work is performed indoors and outofdoors, occasionally in environments that are dusty, noisy, or which could have work hazards.
  • Some travel to various sites may be required.

$70,000.00-$100,000.00 per year
