MATERIALS MANAGER
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Materials Manager to join our team.

As a Materials Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the tracking and management of materials needed for our operations.

This is a key role in ensuring the smooth and efficient functioning of our supply chain.

Key Responsibilities and Functions:

Ability to utilize various warehouse management systems to manage inventory movements and monitor stock accuracy
Conduct regular audits to ensure inventory accuracy and identify discrepancies or inefficiencies
Implement best practices for inventory control, including cycle counting, stock rotation, and obsolescence management
Analyze data to forecast demand, track inventory levels, and identify trends or issues
Coordinate with production teams to ensure availability of materials as per schedule
Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to ensure accurate inventory records, forecast material needs and timely order fulfillment
Monitor supply chain performance and identify opportunities for improvement
Oversee the receipt, inspection, and storage of materials

Requirements/Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, logistics, or a related field (preferred)
Proven experience as a Materials or Inventory Manager or similar role
Ability to analyze data and make informed decisions
Strong organizational skills are a necessity.
Must be selfsufficient, and able to work with littletono direct supervision.
Proficiency in using warehouse management systems and other inventory management software.
Excellent problemsolving skills with the ability to identify root causes and implement effective solutions.
Strong communication skills to collaborate with crossfunctional teams.
Experience in data collection and analysis using various tools.
Ability to work in a fastpaced environment with tight deadlines.
Must have a valid driver's license.
Ability to pass Drug & Alcohol test to work on site.

Work Conditions:

May be required to operate a fleet vehicle for business purposes.
Must be able to lift and carry materials and equipment weighing up to 50 pounds on a frequent basis and up to 100 pounds on an occasional basis.
Prolonged standing and frequent bending, stooping, and reaching on a daily basis.
Work is performed indoors and outofdoors, occasionally in environments that are dusty, noisy, or which could have work hazards.
Some travel to various sites may be required.
