    Description

    Join the Ministry our Saskatchewan government client on an initial 48-month contract as a Solution Architect, where you will be pivotal in leading the design and implementation of enterprise-wide technology solutions.

    This role places you at the heart of our client's Strategy and Architecture Branch within their Information Technology Division.

    We are looking for highly skilled professionals who are self-starters, adept in a variety of modern technologies, and capable of delivering complex projects with precision.

    Responsibilities


    • Working with ministry personnel to assess and understand business project requirements and outcomes.
    • Developing conceptual and logical design for business technology problems
    • Work as the Technical Lead on projects, holding vendor and government technical resources accountable for ensuring solution's architectures comply with current standards and are in alignment with the direction of the GOS environment.
    • Coordinating the review and approval of solution designs through the technical governance process.
    • Overseeing the technical implementation and deployment of new business solutions.
    • Participating and contributing to the maturity of the architecture practice.
    • Developing and maintaining technology standards and system roadmaps
    Qualifications
    The ideal Solution Architect will have extensive experience at a senior level with:


    • Working as a lead Solution Architect on a variety of and business technology projects.
    • Implementing complex enterprise business technology solutions.
    • Modern agile and waterfall project management methodologies.
    • Modern business and data analysis practices.
    • Understanding government procurement documentation and processes.
    • Technology governance frameworks and standards.
    • Facilitation with Ministry partners and third-party vendors. architecture practice.
    • Developing and maintaining technology standards and system roadmaps
