The Opportunity
McDonald's Canada has a growth opportunity for a National Employer Reputation & Engagement Consultant.

Reporting to the Manager of Employee Experience & Engagement, you will be a key member of the Toronto-based team, working to execute strategy and programs nationally.


You will support existing systems & programs and help lead the launch of new programs that support McDonald's restaurants across Canada.

You will work cross-functionally in partnership with other departments to shape employer reputation messages and build brand perception with potential and current employees.

Principal Accountabilities
Our Employee Reputation & Engagement Consultant will focus on:

  • _ Supporting the ATS system_. You will be the SME for our restaurant-level Applicant Tracking System (ATS), partnering regionally and nationally to provide support and enhancements to all restaurants across Canada.
- _ Year-

Long Activation:

_ You will ensure our employer reputation efforts are supported year-round, by partnering with our marketing and social media teams to execute the strategy.

- _ Communication and Training:_ You will provide training and share best practices for employee engagement & reputation tools and tactics to achieve self-sufficiency and shared accountability. This will require leveraging strong communication and facilitation skills
- _ Vendor management_: You will build strong relationships with our vendors through regular touchpoints to address concerns, set expectations and provide updates on the business.

Employee Engagement:

_ You will provide leadership & expertise with our internal influencers program and work with multiple stakeholders to build compelling narratives.


Qualifications:

- _ The experience. _Demonstrated experience in communications, marketing or brand reputation experience with deep knowledge of various recruitment and attraction efforts. Experience in supporting large, organization-wide projects in a fast-paced organization is preferred.
- _ The education. _Post-secondary education with a focus on Communications, Marketing or a related field of study. A combination of relevant experience and education is preferred.
- _ The collaborative and communication skills. _Refined consultative approach that engages stakeholders in a collaborative manor. Very strong customer focus with keen attention to detail and ability to translate requirements into action. Excellent written, oral and presentation skills. Ability to present, influence and communicate information based on target audience.
- _ The innovative problem-solving skills. _High attention to detail and is able to develop and present recommendations supported by data.
- _ Project management:_ Demonstrated knowledge of project management methodology and project management experience both as an individual contributor and as a Project Lead.

  • French language skills would be considered an asset.
