Reporting to the Senior Manager, Finance Data Management and Controls, the
Analyst, GRC & Finance Data will be primarily responsible for SAP's Governance, Risk and Compliance (GRC) module as well as assisting the Finance Data Management team initiatives.

Financial Business Services are business focused collaborators, focusing on modernizing the finance function.

This is a term position, scheduled to end December 31, 2024.


What you will do:


  • Support security processes in an SAP ECC environment, including user provisioning, segregation of duty management, emergency access and risk management using the SAP GRC 12 module
  • Maintenance of Mitigating controls within SAP GRC
  • Custom Transaction Code Review
  • Coordination with SAP Security team on update to SAP GRC Ruleset
  • Partner with the Retail (North America, Brazil and Australian) Roles and Controls teams on best practices in our SAP landscapes.
  • Partner with business process mitigation owners across the organization on SAP access requests, assisting to improve associated processes and controls
  • Lead annual user access review, including continuous improvement activities
  • Review of key organizational reports Unmitigated User, Critical Users, User Access Reviews, SAP Financial Authority Limits and Oracle Financial Authority Limits
  • Build and maintain internal SAP GRC knowledge base including the development of training material, methods, and tools
  • Assist in the deployment of the Financial Business Services document management project
  • Support ongoing initiatives and projects of the Financial Business Services team as required

What you will bring:


  • Bachelor's degree and working towards or completion of an accounting or internal controls related designation (CA, CMA, CGA, CPA, CIA, CISA)
  • Minimum 3 years of in financial accounting or internal controls compliance
  • Strong understanding of Segregation of Duties frameworks
  • Ability to demonstrate advanced understanding of business processes, internal control risk management, IT controls and related standards
  • Excellent written and verbal communication
  • Knowledge of SAP business processes, user provisioning processes and security maintenance processes, considered an asset
  • The ability to work independently on large and small projects, with all levels of staff and leadership across the organization in a multitask, deadlineoriented, team environment
