Responsibilities

  • Preparing weekly batch payments via cheque, wire and ACH.
  • Performing daytoday financial transactions, including verifying, classifying, and recording accounts payable data.
  • Obtaining approvals for invoices and expenses in accordance with Greybrook's internal approval matrix.
  • Reconcile the accounts payable ledger to ensure that all bills and payments are accounted for and properly posted.
  • Understand expense accounts and cost centers.
  • Preparation of HST returns.
  • Review and processing of expense reports.
  • Preparation of monthly bank reconciliations.
  • Provide accounting and clerical support to the accounting department.
  • Correspond with CRA on various matters including obtaining business and HST numbers.
  • Provide assistance and support to company personnel.
  • Inform management and compile reports/summaries on activity areas.
  • Assist internal and external audit projects.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Skills/Qualification

  • At least 1 year of accounts payable experience.
  • Bachelor's degree in business and/or Accounting.
  • Demonstrates accounting knowledge.
  • Good time management skills and verbal/written communication.
  • Attention to detail, thoroughness, and organization skills.
  • Team player, willing to always support the team.
  • Selfstarter working in a fastpaced environment.
