Footprints Security is seeking Security Officers with valid BC Security Worker's License to join our growing team in a permanent, part time or full-time or part-time Security Guard positions.

General Responsibilities:

Observe, record, and report activities and security incidents while on shift
Ensure client property and personnel are secure and follow sitespecific instructions
Control access to site
Monitor and record vehicle activity
Monitor Card Access
Other administration duties as assigned
Security Officer positioned in a stationary Security Gate House
Provide exceptional customer service to clients and the public

Required Qualifications and Skills:

A valid BC Security Worker's License is required
PWSR Certification (Persons with Security Responsibility)
Desirable or will train
A valid Class 5 Drivers License is considered an asset work site is in Duke Point
Flexible availability: ability to work day, afternoon, evening, and overnight shifts covering all days of the week and holidays
At least 1 year of experience in the security industry
Ability to use smartphones with ease
Ability to multitask and prioritize effectively in a busy environment
Strong communication skills, both verbally and in writing
Ability to write clear and concise incident reports
A calm demeanor and sound decisionmaking skills
Fluency in English
