Undergraduate Student Assistant:


Primary Purpose:

To support a diverse research team through literature reviews as they pertain to the decolonial work being embarked upon and Indigenous community engagement and knowledge mobilization.


Nature of Work:
Collaborative, decolonial work that is remote, on campus and in various Indigenous communities


Typical Duties or Accountabilities:
Literature reviews, community visit coordination, community engagement.

In the appointment of Student Assistant, your general duties and responsibilities will be:
Conducting research, preparing reports, writing papers, providing laboratory support, literature/library research, administrative tasks and other research support and assistance.
The Student Assistant will report directly to the faculty supervisor, post-doctoral fellow and Research Assistant.


Education: 2+ years of an undergraduate degree in psychology, social sciences or equivalent.


Experience:
Experience working in a fast paced-environment and with a diverse group of people.


Skills:
Time management skills, organizational skills, self-motivation, ability to multi-task and prioritize and library resource search skills.
