Jim Keay Ford Lincoln is currently seeking a
Warehouse Shipping & Receiving Associate to join our team of talented and driven professionals.


The primary role of the Shipper/Receiver is to ship, receive and record the movement of parts, supplies, materials, equipment and stock to and from the dealership.

The secondary role is to ensure parts are delivered and picked up in an efficient manner, to aid in the smooth function of the Parts and Service Department.


Salary/Hourly Wage:
Commensurate with Experience


Job Details:


  • Determine method of shipment and arrange shipping; prepare bills of lading, customs forms, invoices and other shipping documents manually or by computer;
  • Assemble containers and crates, record contents manually or by computer, pack goods to be shipped and affix identifying information and shipping instructions;
  • Oversee loading and unloading of goods from trucks or other conveyances;
  • Inspect and verify incoming goods against invoices or other documents, record shortages and reject damaged goods;
  • Unpack, code and route goods to appropriate storage areas;
  • Maintain internal, manual or computerized recordkeeping systems;
  • Maintain the overall cleanliness of shipping/receiving area;
  • May operate forklift, hand truck or other equipment to load, unload, transport and store goods;
  • Delivers and picks up various automotive parts to and from vendors.
  • Delivers invoices to various vendors;
  • Keeps parts department clean and tidy, emptying garbage and disposing of cardboard; and
  • Maintains parts vehicle, ensuring all garbage is discarded and vehicle is in a clean and neat fashion.

Requirements:


  • Valid G Class Driver's License
  • Clean Driver's Abstract
  • Works well independently with mínimal supervision
  • Shows a willingness to perform all duties of the position
  • Shows a positive approach toward helping customers and coworkers
  • Flexible and open to change
  • Takes initiative to tackle special tasks as needed
  • Resultsoriented and accountable
  • Excellent driving skills
  • Ability to stand for multiple hours a day
  • Ability to move in and out of various vehicles
