IDN is a leading distributor of security hardware, access control systems, video surveillance equipment, doors & frames, locksmithing tools, and related security products.


Job Description:


  • Assisting customers by phone / in person or electronically (for walkin traffic / counter sales).
  • Using internal systems to provide information on price and availability.
  • Order processing and related customer assistance. In addition to handling stock orders, this includes processing special orders, presenting promotions, resolving pricing situations, handling customer returns # credit situations, and related tasks.
  • Manufacturer/vendor contact for factory orders.
  • Outbound customer calls to assist in growing the local business.
  • Maintaining up to date knowledge on our everevolving product offering.
  • Light shipping / receiving responsibilities daily.

Key Working Relationships:

Requirements:


  • 1 to 3 years Sales / Customer Service experience (distribution industry preferred).
  • Strong computer skills.
  • Strong verbal communication skills.
  • Strong organizational skills with ability to multitask.
  • Team player.
  • A working knowledge of mechanical or electronics door locks and/or access control would be an asset.
