The team you will be a part of


You will join a globally diverse group of individuals from the Common Software Foundation Program Office group of Cloud and Network Services Technology.

As part of our team, you will design, implement and, more importantly, automate key project-tracking dashboards. You will collaborate with our Project Office team, Senior Architects, and other engineers supporting them across multiple cloud environments.

Project Management Assistant Co-op/Intern

What you will learn and contribute to

As part of the team, you will:

  • Develop interfaces to data repositories using Python to support the development and maintenance of R&D performance dashboards. Develop, manage and support internal web portals (such as SharePoint and Confluence), with the mindset of always working towards a better user experience.
  • Assist with project management by updating key artifacts and tracking data that is visualized using Power BI dashboards.
  • Support the Common Software Foundation team with innovative initiatives.
  • Test and validate documentation procedures by deploying software components in a virtual lab environment.

Your skills and experience

Education Recommendations
Bachelor's degree or diploma in Technology Development, Software Engineering or related field with an accredited school in Canada.


You have:

  • Excellent English written and verbal abilities for presentations and public speaking.
  • Quick learner and selfstarter with a sense of ownership and accountability.
  • Experience and proficiency in Python and standard libraries.

It would be nice if you also had:

  • Analytics and programming skills would be an asset, especially related to Python, MySQL, VBA, Tableau and Power BI.
  • Familiarity with software development tools, such as git, Jenkins and JIRA.
  • Knowledge of Linuxbased operating systems and cloud environments, such as Amazon Web Services (AWS), OpenStack or VMware.
