YOUR MISSION

Major Responsibilities:


  • Lead, mentor, and motivate a team of skilled field service professionals based in Canada and USA, fostering a culture of collaboration, continuous improvement, and technical excellence.
  • Drive safety, quality, delivery, customer satisfaction and growth via onsite coaching, mentorship and supervision.
  • Assisted by the field service coordinator, oversee and schedule field service activities, coordinating resources and equipment to ensure efficient and timely project execution.
  • Collaborate closely with clients to understand their requirements and provide exceptional solutions, maintaining positive relationships and driving customer satisfaction.
  • Ensure compliance with safety protocols, industry standards, and company policies, guaranteeing a secure and productive work environment.
  • Monitor and analyze performance metrics to identify areas for improvement and optimize service delivery and cost efficiency.
  • Assist in the development and execution of training programs for field service professionals, keeping them uptodate with the latest industry trends and technologies.
  • Contribute to the development of service strategies, helping to drive innovation and enhance our competitive advantage.
  • Collaborate with crossfunctional teams including project management, engineering, sales, and customer support to streamline processes and improve overall customer experience.
  • Drive revenue growth by identifying and executing on field service opportunities while maintaining a good control on costs and efficiency.

ARE YOU THE ONE?

Required Education, Experience and Skills:


  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or Power Engineering or equivalent experience
  • Proven field service management experience (5+ years); Preferably in the electrical power generation industry or equivalent.
  • Demonstrated best in class leadership abilities with a clear track record of effectively leading and motivating field service teams to achieve market differentiated performance.
  • Strong problemsolving skills and the ability to make informed decisions under pressure.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of fostering positive relationships with clients, team members, and stakeholders.
  • Knowledge of applicable health, safety, and electrical (CSA/NFPA/UL) regulatory codes and standards
  • Understanding and ability to interpret detailed electrical schematics & mechanical drawings
  • Understanding of industrial control equipment is an asset for this role (metering, protective relaying, relay ladder logic, Programmable Logic Controllers
  • PLCs and HMI's)
  • Experience with switchgear or Automatic transfer switch would be an asset.
  • Familiarity with NETA/NICET in electrical equipment testing would be an asset.
  • A strong commitment to safety, quality, and continuous improvement is a must.
  • Valid driver's license and willingness to travel in Canada and USA on a frequent basis is required.
