About the Role:


KEV Group is looking for a Chief of Staff to work closely with our CEO and leadership team to aid in the growth of our business.

The Chief of Staff will work cross-functionally to ensure that key business priorities and initiatives are moving forward efficiently and to plan.

In this role you will synthesize high level business strategy into digestible and actionable plans, you will get the right people in the room to make things happen, and you will often lead initiatives that do not fit neatly into any one area of the org chart.


Responsibilities

  • Overseeing strategic and crossfunctional initiatives, from development through to successful execution
  • Simplifying the complex, solving problems, and managing the process from idea to execution
  • Taking businesslevel goals and partnering with department leaders to synthesize into actionable plans
  • Overseeing daily operations in collaboration with department leaders, providing support and leadership where needed to 'get things done' this could entail helping with scheduling, documenting minutes, and getting the right people in the room to solve the problem of the day
  • Ensuring that each department and key initiative has a defined set of KPIs and metrics, working with leaders to coursecorrect proactively
  • Organizing and facilitating leadership sessions to ensure cohesion and team effectiveness
  • Improving current processes and optimizing organizational procedures for efficiency and productivity
  • Reviewing, designing, and executing improvements to organizational structure; finding knowledge and skills gaps and helping to address them
  • Acting as the 'right hand' to the CEO by helping to manage his calendar, prioritize his day, and provide support on an array of activities that require the CEO's involvement
  • Managing a portfolio of special projects in support of various business objectives

  • Entrepreneurial and scrappy actionoriented with a 'get it done' attitude. Experience succeeding in an entrepreneurial environment. Thrives in an ambiguous and dynamic environment. Exposure to big business is important but should come more recently from an entrepreneurial role.
  • Bias towards action a master of managing the process of idea to execution has a proven track record or taking big ideas requiring crossfunctional collaboration and building and executing on plans to deliver. Is highly driving and persistent. Ability to understand the big picture.
  • Data and analytics driven comfortable with numbers and Excel
  • Influence and persuasion knows how to get the most out of people an can work with a variety of personality types
  • Highly organized and able and willing to manage work that can be administrative in nature

Requirements:


  • MBA preferred
  • Experience working with entrepreneurial, midsized organizations
  • Strong project management skills
  • Persuasive with the ability to influence others
  • Driving and persistent
  • Highly organized
  • Actionoriented with the ability to think strategically
  • Proficient in Excel
