T he Team:


Financial Risk Analytics, within Credit & Risk Solutions under S&P Global Market Intelligence division, provides products and solutions to financial institutions to measure and manage their market risk, counterparty credit risk, regulatory risk capital and derivative valuation adjustments.

Using the latest analytics and technology such as a fully vectorized pricing library, Machine Learning and a Big Data stack for scalability, our products and solutions are used by the largest tier-one banks to smaller niche firms.


Our solutions are available in the cloud or deployed, and can also be run as a service, so we free up clients' internal resources to let them focus on their business priorities.

Responsibilities and Impact:

You will join a specialist sales team renowned for the strength and track record of its members.

As a member of the S&P Global Financial Risk Analytics Sales team in the Americas you will report into a senior member of the Financial Risk Analytics sales team, contributing to driving new business sales in the region and meeting FRA's regional sales goal and other performance metrics.

Your contribution and dedication to your role is essential as you have a direct impact on FRA's new business generation and the expansion of the existing business.

You will be a member of the Americas Credit and Risk Solutions Sales organization that will be responsible for driving revenue growth globally across all sectors in the Americas.

In addition, you will be expected to partner closely with Product Management to provide competitor and customer insights that can drive product strategy.

Drive ambitious sales growth, meeting or exceeding new business goals for the Business Unit including carrying an individual quota.

Support and execute go-to-market business development campaigns in collaboration with the other regional FRA sales specialists and the Business Unit

Proactively identify client needs to initiate and manage sales dialog to g enerate new customer leads and acquire new accounts through networking, methodical outreach and robust diagnostic conversations


Develop and s tay current on regulatory and market trends that impact client need for and use of the FRA suite of products, building the knowledge necessary to have credible diagnostic conversations.

Build long-term business relationships with new clients

Represent and promote S&P Global core values


What We're Looking For:

You are a results-driven, sales professional with a strong understanding of the Investment workflow and comparative solutions - on the client side or in a Product or Commercial role for a market provider - who can actively seek out and engage prospects in Financial Institutions across The Americas


We are looking for:

Basic Required Qualifications:


Previous experience in a Quota carrying role selling complex solutions or extensive experience supporting teams who carry a quota as specialist or product lead, with a focus on sellside and / or buy side in the Americas region.

Fintech Sales experience an advantage, especially subscription/cloud solutions experience

Strong interpersonal communication skills, active listening, and confidence in delivering product demonstrations are essential. Advanced MS Office/presentation skill, and proficiency working with Salesforce.

Interest in solving problems for clients through the delivery of financial market data solutions and analytical tools

Willingness for foreign travel on occasion in order to conduct face to face meetings or attend industry conferences

Bachelor degree or equivalent required. MBA / CFA is a plus.
