Our Information Management and Information Technology team is seeking a talented Business Analyst and Reporting Analyst with exceptional skills in communication.

We are looking for someone, who can collaborate and interface with other business analysts, Business Intelligence/Data Warehouse developers, and Database Administrative experts, within the Innovation and Information Management Services department.

Salary:
$72,841 - $91,051 - $100,156 per year (pay range explained below)

Contract:
Temporary, Term until April 2025 (Paternity Leave coverage)


Hours: 37.5 hours, Monday

Coast Salish Musqueam Nations

  • Metro Vancouver: UK Building (Hybrid minimum 50% in the office)

About the role

As Business Intelligence and Reporting Analyst, you will provide senior level of expertise in analysing Business Intelligence (BI) and reporting requirements, developing value-added BI solutions, and producing a variety of reports and dashboards.

You will support in requirements collection, analysis, definition, and documentation activities, assist in defining and prioritizing content to be included in the Enterprise Data Warehouse.

Additionally, you will actively engage in defining, designing, and developing reports and dashboards for all user groups.


About you
To be successful in this role you will have

  • A degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related Information Technology field, plus 4 to 6 years of significant related experience with increasing responsibility in Business Intelligence analysis and development, or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Experience in using Tableau ( and PowerBI is beneficial), SSRS for visualization and reporting
  • Experience working with BC First Nations Communities and/or organizations
  • Experience utilizing a variety of office tools including Microsoft Office Suite, excel, word, power point with an aptitude to embrace mastery of new computer systems and databases
  • Experience in the establishment and maintenance of filing systems and file management processes
  • Experience in meeting preparation processes and minute taking
  • Experience in handling sensitive confidential information and matters in a trusted and responsible manner
  • Knowledge of FNHA and its structure and interdependencies

The Pay Range is the minimum and maximum annual salary based on full time equivalent hours.

Incumbents are typically hired, transferred or promoted between the minimum and midpoint of the range based on their knowledge, skills, abilities and experience in relation to the role requirements.

The top 10% of the pay range is for the incumbents who are industry experts in the job with the combination of exceptional experience and competencies needed to perform all duties and responsibilities at a superior capability level.
