About the Role_

Reporting to the Chief Technical Officer, the
AV Systems Installer will be responsible for delivery, installation, and connectivity for all audio, video, access control, CCTV, video conference, network, and control systems.

The position requires the ability to configure, test, and troubleshoot device and systems problems.

Your Impact_

  • Installation_
  • Installation back boxes, cans, and rings required for 'roughin' phase.
  • Installation of low voltage structured cabling, including terminations and certification reporting.
  • Fabricate racks inhouse or onsite at client location.
  • Rig and mount all equipment and displays.
  • Device configuration and system documentation.
  • Participate in afterhour Tech-OnCall programs, supporting exiting systems remotely and/or in the field.
  • Comply with all safe work practices and technical standards.
  • Perform quality control checks and participate in quality assurance improvements.
  • Inventory Control_
  • Restock inventory of equipment/consumables.
  • Return unused or defective product to warehouse.
  • Sign out and secure tools and products
  • Reporting_
  • Provide feedback to the Integration, PMO, and Service teams.
  • Identify and report on company installation and implementation related risks.
  • Provide billing and job status reports.
Perform other duties as assigned based upon business need.

About You_

  • High school diploma or GED is required.
  • Valid driver's license and ability to travel to project sites as needed is required.
  • L2 Police background check will be required.
  • 2+ years of proven experience in the installation and integration of home and commercial automation systems is preferred.
  • Carpentry experience in residential or commercial construction preferred.
  • Experience interacting with contractors, trades, architects, and designers is preferred.
  • Certifications in relevant automation technologies (e.g., CEDIA, Crestron, Control4) is preferred.
  • Excellent problemsolving and troubleshooting skills.
  • Exceptional communication and clientfacing skills.
