    Description

    Valard, is Canada's premier utility contractor, as well as head of the Valard Group of Companies AND part of the Quanta Group, the largest electrical power contractor in North America. Valard has full-service capabilities for transmission, distribution, substations, foundations, telecommunications and renewable energy.

    Valard Construction LP is seeking qualified DistributionJourneyman Powerline Technicians/ Apprentices to join our project in Thunder Bay, ON. We are looking for self-motivated, team players who are willing to work as part of a dynamic team that provides crucial support to Valard's projects.

    Requirements

  • Red Seal Powerline Technician Certificate or Powerline Technician Apprentices
  • Distribution experience is considered an asset
  • Class 4 Rubber Glove experience is considered an asset
  • Working at Heights Certificate
  • Standard First Aid (CPR/AED) is considered an asset
  • Class 1 (AZ) or Class 3 (DZ) license is considered an asset
  • Positive Attitude and good work ethic
  • Must be local to Thunder Bay area *accommodations and LOA are not provided*
