    MCHA Campus I th Street NW) is looking for a professional who are willing to learn about and enhance our Fully Implemented Montessori Program as well as join our culturally and educationally diverse team. This is a great position for Educational Assistants and those with an Educational background.

    We have positions for Montessori Assistants in our:

    Casa Program - 2.5 up to the age of 6

    We are looking for Child Development professionals who are looking for a new and wonderful challenge and experience with a reputable Montessori organization.

    The individuals need to be willing to obtain their Montessori foundation from an organization of MCHA's choice. The individuals will also have experience in a Montessori facility or reputable Early Childhood facility and have a passion to work with children 2.5 up to 6 years of age.

    We are looking for the right individuals who possess professionalism, strong work ethics, and the willingness to make a personal investment to MCHA, Montessori, the team, and the children and have a Montessori soul, and great respect for young children.

    The successful candidates must be coachable, collaborator, hard-working, and can invest in the MCHA vision.

    Qualifications:

    If not already obtained will obtain the necessary Montessori certification
    Level 3 Early Childhood Educator certification in Alberta

    Level 3
    3 years of classroom experience
    Current First Aid certification
    Current and valid Criminal Record Check
    Flexibility to attend after-hour functions such as team meetings, parent nights and etc.

    Qualifications of the Classroom Assistant:

    Leadership skills
    Strong programming abilities
    Motivated
    Self-initiating
    Ability to plan through curriculum
    Material Making
    Looking for a career

    Prepared to invest their time and energy into the position, the team, and first and foremost the children. When working with Children and in Montessori, it is more than an 8 to 5 job it is a career to be proud of. There are about 2 evenings per month such as parent education, science fair, staff meetings and etc. Team members work 8 hours rotating shifts between 7am and 6pm, schedule rotations are every week.
